This week will be a very busy week for many
people who are traveling, cooking and getting ready for big family get
togethers. We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and hope that
wherever you are that you have a very blessed day. We're very fortunate to
be able to spend the week in Naples at a wonderful place and have shows this
week here. We have so much to be thankful for and we look forward to
a great winter season in Florida. We have lots of good shows scheduled and
look forward to seeing lots of old friends and meeting many new ones.

Been a great week, 3 shows
with Veteran's Tribute. It was an honor to entertain such good groups of
people and see how many Veterans there were in the crowd. I thought it was
really something when I played the theme songs from each branch of the military
that several men and women stood up more than once. I guess years ago it
wasn't that uncommon for people to serve in more than one branch of the service.
What a generation that was!! Thankful for the ones still serving.

Great show tonight, celebrating Veteran's
Day with a great group of Veterans. A nice crowd with a great opening by
Ray, giving thanks and his own tribute to all Veterans in attendance as well as
those who have served in the past and now serving. Rick followed with a
very nice show of music with a great tribute of his own. He sang "This
Land Is Your Land" and played "God Bless America" on the harmonica. What
followed was a thrill for all in attendance when Rick airbrushed a patriotic
picture, while singing his original song "Paint a Picture". This was the
first time for Rick to paint this new picture in public, but it turned out
great. Sharon Pack was so happy when Rick donated the painting and it was
given to one of the Veteran's in attendance. Nice show....see a few

What a great time in Naples. Thanks
to our friends who showed us such a nice time....very relaxing, such hospitality
and enjoyed the company and lots of fun!! Can't wait to do it again!!

Rick had a great
show in Tampa on Friday night at the Florida
RV Trade Show. Although Murphy’s Law peaked
his slimy little head for a few minutes,
meaning some technical difficulties gave
Rick a few headaches early on in the show.
Evidently the lighting above Rick’s head,
along with the sound system was interfering
with his wireless headset making for some
unfortunate noises at the beginning. But
Rick, ever the professional, kept his cool,
changed some cords, asked for some lights to
be turned off, cracked a few jokes about the
situation and never missed a beat…..the show
did go on and a very good one at that! This
is a very unusual venue with the stage being
in the middle and about 500 seats on each
end. No problem for anyone “just” singing,
but it proved a challenge for Rick who wows
the crowd airbrushing a beautiful picture
while singing an original song. So…..Rick
set up two easels, one so each side can see
what he was doing and paints not one, but
TWO pictures during the same amount of time
he normally paints one picture. To make it
even more exciting, Rick painted two
different pictures and each side did not
know what he was doing for the other side.
When he ended the song and each painting, he
turned the pictures so each side could see
and there were man “oohhhhhhhhs” coming from
the very appreciative crowd. When he
finished the show with his original
patriotic song “God Bless”, the crowd asked
for an encore and he ended it with a
rock-n-roll medley that had everyone singing
along. Fun, Fun, Fun!! A big thanks to
everyone who came by after the show to visit
with Rick, check out his merchandise table
and bought CD’s and extra paintings that
Rick had on hand. Great night!!

What a
great night at River Ranch RV Resort on
Saturday. First big event of the
season and a great crowd came out to see
many old friends for the first time.
We even heard a lot of people say they made
some new friends! So much great food
was brought by everyone. Lots of
dancing which made the evening so much fun
for Rick. Joan Duimstra was introduced
as the new Activities Director. We
know she will do a great job and hopefully
will get lots of volunteers to help her with
all the happenings at the Ranch this season.

Thanks to everyone who made Veterans Day at
Duffers Sports Grille on Friday a great night. After everyone got warmed
up and had a nice dinner, the dance floor was full for the last two sets.
Look forward to the next engagement there on Friday, November 25! Busy
week ahead with lots of shows in Central Florida. Stay tuned to hear about
them!

It was a good week-end with another good show
at Duffers Sports Grille on Saturday. Rick really appreciates the girls
from Lily Lake coming out and keeping the dance floor hot all night long.
Also, thanks to JoAnn and her friends who came from Buttonwood Bay to see Rick.
He's looking forward to coming to their resort next week! Sunday was a
great day as Rick helped welcome back lots of snowbirds to their winter home at
Whispering Pines in Kissimmee. Another beautiful week-end in sunny
Florida!! What a life!!!!!

What a great night at Duffers Sports Grille on
Friday. A great group from Lily Lake came to see Rick once again.
They sure love to dance! Also, thanks to a fun group who came from
River Ranch. Rick always appreciates your support! Saw a few people
from Highlands Ridge and they were happy to hear that Rick will be there
entertainment for New Year's Eve this year.
Thanks to everyone who check out Rick's
Facebook Page and all your good posts. Tell all your friends and family to
"like" his page so they can keep up with his news, see pictures of things he's

Rick will be at Duffers Sports Grille
again on Friday, October 28 from 6-9 p.m. If you plan on coming, make sure
you call ahead for a reservation. If you want to be up close to the music,
be sure to tell them that, too. Great place for good food, good fun and
lots of good music! Plan on being there!!

The last few days have
been very busy! Great show at the new location for Duffers Sports Grille.
It was nice to see fans come out from several different resorts to see Rick.
Saturday night at Highlands Hammock State Park was awesome! Beautiful park
with a great place for entertainment. Rick was proud to kick off their
Winter Concert in the Park Series. Many families brought their lawn
chairs, blankets, snacks and enjoyed the beautiful evening as well as Rick's
great music. The Friends of Highlands Hammock State Park who sponsor the
concert series were very hospitable and Rick can't wait to return in January,
2013.

Deedrah Branham is the
lucky winner of Rick's first promotion on Facebook. We asked fans to write
in either on Facebook or by e-mail and let us know which original song of Rick's
is their favorite. Deedrah said she liked both "Farm Song" and "The Real
Duke of Hazard", so we're letting her decide which CD she would like to have.
